Miss Trini...In the wee hours coming from the boonies

Well I had intended to get up at 4:15 am for the 45-1 hour drive down to the other town. However, I woke up exhausted, cause though I attempted to get to bed before the snoring one, they passed me out, as they just  lay down and 5 mins later was snoring. OMG! This was at 9:30pm the night before. So I have no idea when I eventually got to bed, maybe like 12...only God knows. But I woke up to the whispering in the room ''''''''yeah it is 10 to 4 ...I am going to bathe...one said to the other.....AAAAHHHHH!!! I can hear you I thought to myself. Geez!

I gave up...I got up and made breakfast and took a shower...no point laying there trying to think I am sleeping. So there was the hour drive to another house, where they were not even up yet, but woke up to open the door for us. Well it could have been back to sleep, but my friend is caught up in the latest craze of Harry Potter, so she just got the latest book and is attempting to finish it before we go back to school. So it was not about
6:30am and I did not get to sleep until after 8am when she gave up reading.

Oh the drive down was a new experience. The only people on the road were a few cars and us, but mostly ''''''''truckers'''''''' so at times we were boxed in between trailers and other heavy rollers. And there was a thick FOG. Really bad, that you could only see a few feet infont of the car. I said to my friend...thank God these roads are not like in the
Caribbean with the hairpin curves. Just then....guess what...the road curves. I siad ''''''''well at least it is not a right hand curve...that would be dangerous....'''''''' As you can imagine the road curved right next. I was like ok...I not saying a thing. Iwas glad the drivers knew the road well. Can you imagine they get up everyday at 4am and leave home at 5am to get down to work for 6:30- 6:45am. And sometimes do not reach home till 5-6pm, even though school finishes like 2:30 pm I think! CRAZY!!! I could not spend my life on the road like that.

Lol! Imagine I came from living about 5 mins from work....leaving home at
7:50am or 7:55am. Wow! That was great!!!

Anyway, they are expecting a cold front this weekend. In the 30''''''''''''''''s can you imagine? And we leave Saturday to drive further North. Well...we will see what happens. I got me one of those thermal pants today...nothing to play with.

Until laterz
